Anyway here's an altered cigar box I made for Eve for the swap she hosted on Scrappyhappiness Ning. Was supposed to use Graphic45 papers actually but the paper hasn't arrived yet so I used some Webster's instead (with her blessings of course).

Some close ups. I totally <3 the photo that Eve uses as her avatar, so I made her a box in a similar color scheme just so that I can put her photo on the cover :) Actually, I did a similar 12x12 layout with Jaz in class some time back. Will share when I have the time!

ReplyDeleteregarding the cigar box, it was sent to me by a scrapper friend from USA who participated in a swap that I'm hosting (so she sent it to me together with the swap items). Yea, I agree. it's really difficult to find one in Singapore.
but if u are really having trouble getting one, what I can suggest is for you to use a chocolate box instead. head by the nearest supermarket and go look for a box of chocolate with the top-flap lid, just like a cigar box, and use that instead. I'm sure your partner wouldn't mind :)
